Super-intensive course:

Are you interested in the traditional and modern culture of Japan?  Our 2-week Super Intensive Course offers you the opportunity to learn about the wonderful culture Japan has cultivated for thousands of years.  While you learn the language and have the chance to participate in cultural events with other Japanese.  Every Saturday you have 4 hours of cultural "experience" lessons.

Here are just some of the activities offered in this course.  Please note that these are only examples and that the actual activities in your course may look different.

Taiko drums

This is not the usual drumming.  Taiko is actually a mix of martial arts and music and is practiced in a dojo with the same energy and dedication as all other martial arts in Japan!  Take the drumsticks in your hand, take the drumming kamae (posture) and join the heartbeat of Japan.

tea ceremony

Learn and experience the traditional Japanese tea ceremony and feel its harmony and peaceful movements

The course of your language course:

On the day of arrival of your LISA!  You will arrive at your accommodation.  On the first day of school you will be divided into levels according to your level of knowledge.  In this way, we guarantee optimal learning success.  After the course, you will have plenty of time to explore the city.  The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and shop, where to find the best karaoke bar and what festival is taking place.  Everyone can also explore the resort on their own.  In Kyoto, the best way to get around the city is to take the many buses or the subway.  There will always be like-minded people with whom you can go on a journey of discovery.  In order to deepen and try out what you have learned, the exchange with the locals is an excellent complement to the language lessons.
