At our small, family-run language school in the heart of Oaxaca, our students learn quickly in an international atmosphere and have the opportunity to quickly put their new language skills into everyday life in the many restaurants, bars and shops in the area.

Location & facilities:

Our language school in Oaxaca is located in a historic building dating back to the 16th century, right in the centre of the city. The building has a shaded courtyard and a small restaurant.  The 5 classrooms are modern and inviting.

Here you can spend the breaks relaxed or try a typical Mexican lunch.  There are also many museums, shops, restaurants and cafés in the vicinity of the school. 

Organised leisure programme:

The friendly school team is happy to organise pub or movie evenings, parties and concerts.  Joint visits to the theatre, clubs, restaurants or museums as well as guided city tours can also be arranged.

LISA!  Language courses:

• Our language courses start every Monday.  If the course starts on a public holiday, the course starts on Tuesday.  Courses for beginners start on fixed days (see calendar).

•  Our courses in Oaxaca are suitable for beginners (A1) to intermediate (C2) levels.

•  During your LISA!  You will stay in selected accommodations (see accommodations).

 Spanish and Dance:

Together with other students you can learn Latin American dances at our language school.  The dance course takes place after the Spanish course and includes 5 dance lessons per week.

Spanish and Mexican Cooking:

In this course, students learn the secrets of Mexican cuisine and prepare typical dishes.  Participants learn a lot about local ingredients and specialities.  An ideal opportunity to use new Spanish vocabulary in everyday life!  Typical Mexican dishes such as 'Antojitos' or fish & seafood are cooked together.  The course includes a total of 5 lessons of 60 min per week.

Spanish and Mexican Culture:

Together with other course participants, you can get to know the Mexican culture better at our language school.  The course takes place after the Spanish course and consists of 5 lessons per week.  Our students get a deep insight into the Mexican and indigenous cultures, their art and traditions.

The course of your language course:

On the day of arrival of your LISA!  You will arrive at your accommodation.  On the first day of school you will be divided into levels according to your level of knowledge.  In this way, we guarantee optimal learning success.  After the course, you will have plenty of time to explore the city.  The school offers activities several times a week.  The school team is happy to give tips on where to go out and shop, where to get the best coffee and which festival is taking place.  Everyone can also explore the resort on their own.  There will always be like-minded people with whom you can go on a journey of discovery.  In order to deepen and try out what you have learned, the exchange with the locals is an excellent complement to the language lessons.  Accommodation in a host family has the advantage that you can apply what you have learned directly.  There are many opportunities to speak Spanish when shopping and going out.
